In the winter of 2025, the life of 19-year-old Brandon Thomas was tragically cut short in Forest Park, Georgia. The young man's family grew concerned when they were unable to contact him and their attempts to report him as a missing person led them to a grim discovery. On or around February 19th, their search ended in heartbreak when they found Brandon's body inside an abandoned apartment at 507 Georgia Avenue. He had been fatally shot.
The Forest Park Police Department launched a homicide investigation into the death of the teenager. Details about what led to the shooting have not been publicly released by authorities. The investigation remains active, with law enforcement officials appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of a suspect or suspects.
In an effort to generate leads, the police have partnered with Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta.
