On February 16, 2025, Mary Catherine Gingles, a 34-year-old white female and U.S. Army veteran, was tragically killed in a violent incident in Tamarac, Florida. Mary, who had served as a Signal Corps officer from 2016 to 2020, was in the midst of a contentious divorce from her estranged husband, Nathan Gingles, a 43-year-old former Army captain.
