On Christmas evening in Burlington, Iowa, a community was shaken by the tragic death of Anthony DeCarlo Campbell, a 44-year-old Black man known affectionately as DJ Ant Bomb. Emergency services responded to a call at a residence on Madison Avenue at approximately 7:35 p.m. on December 25, 2024. Upon their arrival, they discovered Campbell near the back door of the home, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
