Herlyn Barrientos Funez, a 47-year-old Latino male, was fatally shot inside a grocery store in Los Angeles on February 18, 2025. The incident occurred at Superior Grocers on 91st and Figueroa Street. Reports indicate that Barrientos was chased into the store by two suspects before being shot multiple times. The Los Angeles County coroner ruled his death a homicide, citing multiple gunshot wounds as the cause.
