Stefhon Causey, a 34-year-old Black male, was fatally shot in a parking lot in an unincorporated area bordering Inglewood and South Los Angeles. The incident occurred on March 1, 2025, at approximately 6:10 a.m. in the 2100 block of West Century Boulevard, near Van Ness Avenue, in Westmont. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene, where Causey was pronounced dead at 6:18 a.m.
The coroner’s office later confirmed that the manner of death was homicide, with the cause being multiple gunshot wounds.
Authorities have not publicly identified any suspects or made any arrests in connection with the shooting. His previous arrests included charges related to the possession of marijuana or hashish for sale in 2016 and 2017. However, there is no indication that his past legal troubles were connected to his homicide. Authorities continue to seek leads in the case, hoping to bring justice for the 34-year-old Black male who lost his life in the violent incident.
