Wayne Richard Moriarty, a 56-year-old Caucasian man from Ocean View, Hawaii, was found dead on October 18, 2024, in his home on Tiki Lane within the Hawaii Ocean View Estates subdivision. Moriarty, also known as Arthur Hackett, was discovered by Ka‘ū patrol officers responding to a report of a deceased individual at approximately 1:10 p.m. Upon arrival, authorities found his body with injuries deemed suspicious and not accidental.
