The Alachua County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of 21-year-old Aaviel Javion Hester-Guadalupe as a homicide. Hester-Guadalupe was found unresponsive in a unit at Reflections Apartments, located at 205 SW 75th St in Gainesville, Florida, on April 13, 2025. Deputies responded to a medical emergency call at the apartment complex around 10:40 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the deceased inside one of the apartments.
