Victor Joriel Galvez Vasquez, a 19-year-old Latino male, was fatally shot on April 4, 2025, in East Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 10:07 p.m. in the 4000 block of Blanchard Street and North Brannick Avenue, an unincorporated area of East L.A. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived at the scene but were unable to save him. He was formally pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m.
