In the city of Blytheville, Arkansas, a young man's life was cut short in a violent encounter. On May 13, 2025, police responded to reports of gunfire on South Sarah Street. Arriving at the scene, officers discovered Bryan Johnson, a 25-year-old male from the nearby town of Osceola, who had been fatally shot. He was pronounced dead at the location of the incident.
The investigation into the death of Johnson moved swiftly, and authorities soon had suspects in custody.
Following the shooting, police arrested two individuals in connection with the crime. Sarina Woods, a 37-year-old resident of Blytheville, was taken into custody and faced a charge of first-degree murder.
A second individual, 18-year-old Zayona Williams, also from Blytheville, was arrested as well. The charge brought against Williams was for tampering with physical evidence related to the homicide investigation. Both suspects were scheduled for arraignment to face the allegations against them in court.
