Pearl Larson, a 76-year-old Caucasian woman, was tragically murdered in her home in San Leandro, California, on June 24, 1987. She lived in a corner house on Wake Avenue with her teenage grandson. Late that evening, she was found lying on a bed with her hands bound by nylon stockings. Her housecoat was pulled up over her head, and she was not wearing underwear, though investigators found no evidence of sexual assault.
