Gerald Michael Estes

On May 13, 2003, Gerald Michael Estes, a white male, died under circumstances that remained a mystery for several years. At the time of his death, Estes was a fugitive, having been charged with molesting two young boys in Franklin, North Carolina. He was also suspected of sexually abusing other minors and even his own dog. After posting bail, Estes disappeared, and no further information about his whereabouts was available until a confession emerged years later.
