Francisco Altamirano, a 34-year-old male of Mexican descent, was found dead on March 26, 2018, in Franklin, North Carolina. His body, along with that of his 39-year-old brother Diego Altamirano, was discovered in the bed of a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado truck that had been abandoned on Jack Cabe Road. The truck bed was covered, concealing the bodies. Both brothers had gunshot wounds, but the official cause of death was pending autopsy results.
