Sarah G. Brown, a 39-year-old Black woman and single mother, disappeared on April 16, 1973, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was last seen walking to a bus stop after finishing her shift at a restaurant on Canal Street. Her purse was later discovered on Carrollton Avenue, but there was no sign of her.
