On March 1, 1992, Lashawna Streeter, a 27-year-old African-American woman, was last seen in St. Augustine, Florida, at a location known for sex work. She entered a vehicle driven by William Darrell Lindsey, a 56-year-old white male. According to Lindsey's later confession, he assaulted and killed her after she allegedly attempted to rob him. He beat and kicked her to death, then disposed of her body in a remote area. Her remains were discovered ten days later, partially hidden under debris. ...
