In March of 1972, the life of 68-year-old Earl R. Ludlow of Temperance, Michigan, was violently cut short in what was described as an execution-style killing. Ludlow, a male, was abducted from a party store and then shot three times in the head. His body was later discovered off LaVoy Road, leaving a community in shock and a family devastated.
