In a grim discovery, the body of Daniel Deppner, a male associate of the notorious contract killer Richard Kuklinski, was found. His remains were located in a wooded area, sparking an investigation that would unravel a series of horrific crimes. Deppner's body was found stuffed into a plastic garbage bag, a chilling detail in a case that would grip the nation.
An autopsy revealed the apparent cause of death was ligature strangulation.
However, medical examiners also noted a pinkish lividity around his shoulders and chest, suggesting the possibility of carbon monoxide poisoning as a contributing factor.
