Mary Jo Newton, a 45-year-old woman, was murdered on June 14, 2006. Her body was discovered near the end of a dead-end street in Cincinnati, Ohio. The remains were found smoldering, indicating that her killer had set her body on fire after her death. An autopsy confirmed that she had already died before the fire was started.
