Charles Dickerson was murdered on January 3, 1980, in a motel in South Lake Tahoe, California. His body was discovered beneath a bed, bound and gagged, and he had died of asphyxiation. The crime was part of a series of violent offenses committed by Donald Eugene Harding, a serial killer and robber who had escaped from an Arkansas jail in September 1979. Harding was responsible for multiple robberies, kidnappings, and murders across several states in the months leading up to Dickerson's death. ...
