Ralph Campbell, aged 63, was tragically shot and killed on July 20, 2007, in St. Louis, Missouri. Campbell had a long career in law enforcement, having served in various roles throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD), including significant time with the Bureau of Investigations Homicide Division and the Greater St. Louis Major Case Squad. His contributions as a homicide investigator were widely recognized, and he was considered a mentor by many of his colleagues.
