Latondra Dean, a 14-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life in 1992 in St. Clair County, Illinois. Her death was part of a series of heinous crimes committed by Lorenzo Fayne, a convicted serial killer and rapist. Fayne, who targeted children and young women, was responsible for the deaths of five children and one adult woman between 1989 and 1993. Latondra Dean's death was caused by brutal violence, including beating, stabbing, and strangulation.
