Joseph 'Jae' Stevens, a 27-year-old performer known for his work as a female impersonator at Finnochio's in San Francisco, was tragically murdered on June 25, 1974. His body was discovered near Spreckels Lake in Golden Gate Park, having suffered multiple stab wounds. Stevens was one of the victims of an unidentified serial killer known as 'The Doodler,' who targeted men in San Francisco between 1974 and 1975.
