Ottomar A. Schramm, a 78-year-old male of Nicaraguan descent, passed away on December 31, 1998, at Easton Hospital in Pennsylvania. His death was initially attributed to natural causes following a seizure that led to his hospitalization on December 28, 1998. However, subsequent investigations revealed that his death was the result of a lethal overdose of heart medication administered by Charles Cullen, a nurse who later confessed to killing multiple patients during his career.
