Sharon Faye Smith, a 17-year-old white female, was abducted on May 31, 1985, from her driveway in Lexington County, South Carolina. She was returning home from a graduation pool party when she was taken. Her father, who was just a few yards away, witnessed her car at the end of the driveway but did not see her abduction.
