Leslie Bowman, a 3-year-old girl, tragically lost her life on January 5, 1972. The circumstances surrounding her death were both shocking and heartbreaking. Leslie, a young Caucasian girl, was found dead alongside her grandmother, Mabel McCormick, in what was later determined to be a brutal murder during an antique shop robbery in Kountze, Texas. The incident left the community in disbelief and mourning.
