Jasmine Luquinta Powell, a 29-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on June 2, 2014, in Kountze, Texas. She was fatally shot by her ex-boyfriend, Sandy Ray Irvine, at her residence on Pecan Street. Irvine, who was 43 years old at the time, also shot Powell's new boyfriend, Terrion Moffett, four times in the back. Powell was found on the front porch of her home with a gunshot wound to the back of her head.
