Jolaine Lanman, a 35-year-old Caucasian woman, was tragically murdered on September 27, 1989, in her home in Belleville, St. Clair County, Illinois. She was found dead alongside her 3-year-old son, Kenneth Lanman. Both victims were discovered by John Lanman, Jolaine's husband, who returned home around 5 p.m. to find their bodies.
