Nalisia T. Barnes, a 20-year-old African American woman from East St. Louis, Illinois, tragically lost her life on March 30, 2020, in Belleville, Illinois. According to the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department, the incident occurred in the 2500 block of Lucy Drive. Deputies responded to a report of a shooting and found Nalisia with a gunshot wound.
