Xiana Fairchild, a 7-year-old girl from Vallejo, California, vanished on December 9, 1999, while on her way to school. Her disappearance sparked a massive search effort that lasted for 14 months. Tragically, her remains were discovered on January 19, 2001, by a construction worker in the Los Gatos hills, approximately 60 miles from her home.
