In the early hours of December 11, 2017, the body of 23-year-old Alexxandra Morris was discovered near the road at East 70th Street and Kensington Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. A female enrolled in the Chickasaw Nation, she had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The last time her family had seen her was on Thanksgiving Day, a little over two weeks prior, during a holiday gathering at her brother's home.
