Shemeca Warren, a 19-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life in the fall of 1992. Her death was one of the confirmed murders committed by Robert Sylvester Alston, also known as 'The Greensboro Serial Killer.' Alston, who was born on May 19, 1969, in Greensboro, North Carolina, was convicted of multiple murders that occurred between 1991 and 1993. He was apprehended on January 28, 1994, and is currently serving life imprisonment without parole for his crimes.
