Raul Pete Arevalo, a 17-year-old Hispanic male, tragically died on February 23, 1953, in Sonora, Texas. Arevalo was working as a gas station attendant at Lyles Buick Company when he left with two men who claimed they had run out of gas east of Sonora in the company's truck. After he did not return to the station in a timely manner, authorities were notified.
