Mary Elizabeth 'Betsy' Monroe Bagwell, a 40-year-old woman from Dallas, Texas, tragically died on June 16, 1982. She was found dead in her Mercedes in the airport parking lot at Love Field, having been shot in the head. The weapon used was a stolen .22 caliber pistol that she held in her right hand. The police ruled her death a suicide.
