Dale Conway Stiles, a 50-year-old white male, died on January 13, 1987, after succumbing to gunshot wounds sustained six months earlier on July 14, 1986. Stiles was a Deputy Sheriff with the Pecos County Sheriff's Department in Fort Stockton, Texas.
