Detective Donald James Manning, a 28-year-old male, was tragically killed on June 26, 1993, in Fort Worth, Texas. Manning, who served with the Fort Worth Police Department for six years, was off-duty at the time of his death. He and a female friend were approached by five gang members at Oakland Lake Park.
