On December 24, 2018, 39-year-old Don Spriggs, an African American male from Arlington, Texas, was fatally shot outside a game room located in the 6700 block of Brentwood Stair Road in Fort Worth. Surveillance footage captured the incident, showing a man approaching Spriggs and firing multiple shots at close range, striking him three times.
