Patrol Deputy Wilburn Junior Agy, aged 45, was shot and killed on April 5, 1995, while moonlighting as a security officer at a shopping center near Fondren Road and Sanford Road in southwest Houston, Texas. Deputy Agy, who served with the Liberty County Sheriff's Department for nine years, was confronted by two masked gunmen who entered a video store at the shopping center.
