Selemawi Tewolde, a male of Ethiopian ethnicity, tragically lost his life on October 5, 1997, in Houston, Texas. He was fatally shot by Franklin DeWayne Alix in an apartment parking lot. Alix was later identified as the suspect responsible for Tewolde's death.
