Shawn Christopher Brown, a 23-year-old male of unspecified ethnicity, tragically lost his life on September 15, 1999, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was one of the victims of the Wedgwood Baptist Church shooting, a horrific event that took place during a teen prayer rally at the church. The shooter, Larry Gene Ashbrook, entered the church armed with multiple weapons and opened fire on the attendees, killing seven people and injuring seven others before taking his own life.
