On December 9, 2020, Damion Carr, a 16-year-old African American male from Fort Worth, TX, tragically lost his life due to a gunshot wound. He was found on the ground between two buildings at a south Fort Worth apartment complex and was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred in the 7400 block of Tallow Wind Trail and is believed to have taken place during a robbery.
