Robert Earl Boozer Jr., a 16-year-old African American boy from Fort Worth, Texas, was tragically killed on May 26, 2019. Boozer was shot multiple times early in the morning at the Butler Place apartments, a public housing complex near downtown Fort Worth. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and a second teenager was also shot and seriously injured. The second victim was transported to a hospital, but their condition was not disclosed.
