Ziba Poursheykhi, a 44-year-old woman from Houston, TX, tragically lost her life on August 9, 2004. The circumstances surrounding her death were deeply distressing. On that fateful day, Ziba Poursheykhi was found dead in her home, and the incident was reported as a domestic violence case. The victim, who was of Iranian descent, was shot by her husband, Gholamhossein Poursheykhi. The couple had been married since December 5, 1989, and had three children together.
