On October 15, 2004, in Burleson County, Texas, 32-year-old Christina Massey, a white female, was tragically shot and killed by her husband, 33-year-old Charles Edward Carter. Witnesses reported that the couple was engaged in a heated argument when Carter retrieved a pump-action shotgun and fatally shot Christina in the neck. At the time of the incident, the couple's two children were asleep inside their home; authorities believe they did not witness the shooting.
