Rev. James Wayne Armstrong, a 42-year-old male pastor, tragically lost his life on August 28, 2005, in Sash, Texas. He was fatally shot by Frederick Leroy Cranshaw, a 54-year-old man, during a violent rampage that also claimed the lives of three other individuals. The incident occurred outside the Assembly of God Church, where Rev. Armstrong and his wife were talking with friends in the yard.
