Dawon Moore, aged 27, was one of three men shot and killed in an ambush that occurred in downtown St. Louis on May 8, 2009. Moore, along with Allen Jones and Byron Blassingame, had just left a Yo Gotti concert at the Club Society nightclub in the early morning hours when they were stopped at a traffic light at Market and 18th streets. Another vehicle pulled up beside them, and the occupants unleashed a barrage of gunfire that killed all three men.
