Lydia Pinal, a 44-year-old woman of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically died on August 13, 2010, in Rio Grande City, Texas. She was fatally shot by her husband, Francisco Pinal, who then killed himself. The incident also claimed the lives of Rosa Alaniz, Lydia's mother, and another woman, who were shot in the front yard of the third woman's house.
