Amy Dianne Teague Rainey, a 37-year-old woman from Sweetwater, Texas, tragically passed away on December 20, 2010. Her death was the result of a murder-suicide committed by her estranged husband, James Elmer Rainey. On the day of the incident, James drove to his parents' house where Amy was present with their children. He shot Amy in the driveway outside the house, with their children inside the house at the time. After committing the murder, James drove to his home in Trent and shot himself.
