Jillian Michelle Smith, a 24-year-old female police officer with the Arlington Police Department, tragically lost her life on December 28, 2010. Officer Smith was fatally shot while responding to a domestic assault call at the Arbrook Park Apartment Complex in Arlington, Texas.
