Ariel Shepherd, a 16-year-old female of African American ethnicity, tragically lost her life on November 9, 2013, during a house party in Cypress, Texas. The incident occurred at a birthday celebration held at a home in the 7300 block of Enchanted Creek Drive. Shepherd was one of two teenagers killed when multiple shots were fired into the crowd of partygoers. The other victim, Queric Richardson, also 17, died at the scene, while about 20 others were injured.
