Michael Chavez, an 18-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically died on January 4, 2014, in Austin, Texas. He was killed at a home in the 5600 block of Porsche Lane in Southwest Austin. Police responded to the scene after receiving a call at approximately 5:28 p.m. Chavez was pronounced dead at University Medical Center Brackenridge shortly after the arrival of emergency services.
