Alexandria Lee Courtney-Dean, a 2-year-old girl from Post, Texas, tragically passed away on February 20, 2014. Alexandria was born on April 25, 2012, to Jason Courtney and Ashlee Dean. Her death was the result of a gunshot wound to the head, and it was determined to be a homicide.

Following Alexandria's death, her mother, Ashlee Anne Dean, was indicted on charges of capital murder. Ashlee Dean, who was 35 years old at the time, admitted to investigators that she shot her daughter. She had ...
